This project was created to serve as a tool for learning German. The UI is built with NextJs, the API is built with Python FastApi and the database is Postgresql.

Strava Dashboard

This project was created to display my strava data to track training progression. The UI was created with Next and the data was obtained using the Strava API and Next API routing.

Can I Calorie

This project was created to act as a user interface to calculate your total calorie balance for a given day. The UI is built with Angular and Material, with NgRx used as the state management.

Handcrafted by BarbaraRuth

This project was created to serve as a marketing website for a local business. The UI and state was managed by Gatsby with Tailwind CSS for styling. I also used the Contentful CMS to display data using Graphql.

WW2 European Map

This project was created to highlight some of the key battles during WW2. The data is shown using the leaflet map library via HTML, SCSS and JS.

About Me

My current life consists of adventuring through the peak district and 'swimming' through the ocean that is software development.

Hiking into algorithms, running into debugging and riding into data...

It's fair to say sports and programming aren't easy, both require practise, passion and the desire to learn.

There is one subtle difference between API's and archery though, returning data is sign of success, returning arrows not so much!

It was a fateful day when I discovered coding and I can only akin it to when man first discovered fire.

From my first 'hello world' on freeCodeCamp to my first full stack application with React and Python, this lifetime adventure has just begun...
